Asia 2002

July 2002 to February 2003.
My main objective with this trip was to take the Transsibirian railway to Mongolia and then head back westward from China via the old silk roads over Central Asia. As it turned out I ended up also spending several months in the Middle East. After seven months I had covered somewhere between 25 and 30 thousand kilometers over land and sea.
Some of the countries I passed were Estonia, Russia, Mongolia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, Romania, Austria and Germany.
