EgyptI must say that I was a little disappointed with my visit to Egypt. After months of unconditional hospitality in Persia and Middle East, all I encountered in Egypt was greed and rip-offs. To the defence of the Egyptians I have to admit that I spent all my time in Cairo and at a beach resort by the Read Sea, places long degenerated by the bad influences of mass tourism. I'm sure the ordinary local people off the tourist tracks are as nice as in other regions in the area. |
